Default Replaced the O2 sensor but still have code p0155

Is there a certain number of miles before the code clears? My code reader won't clear it. I replaced the passenger side upstream sensor.

On my dakota, I cannot clear codes unless I turn the truck off, pull the key out, back in, then turn it to the on position without starting the truck. Then you should be able to clear the codes, otherwise, pull the negative battery terminal for a few minutes.

Thank-you, how did you figure that out? I have been trying to cycle the key and disconnecting the negative post.
