I just purchased another 98 Dakota. It appears to have the dash replaced and I'm thinking it's got a bad ground somewhere but I have no idea where to look here are the symptoms

check engine light shuts off when brake pedal depressed

turn signal indicators illuminate when blower fan is turned on blower fan does not work indicators get brighter the faster you set the speed

dome light and idiot lights blinking on and off when door open clicking sound on right side of dash sounds like turn signals but coming from wrong side of dash

turn signals do not work when headlights are on unless dash lights are shut off and stop working when brake pedal is depressed

dash lights are extremely dim

other than these issues the truck starts runs and drives perfect all gauges work

thoughts?
