Windshield wipers AND cowl cover buttons
Hello all--
Am new to this site and have a couple questions :
1.) My 2000 Dakota's w/wipers seem to have a brain of their
own. When using the intermittent mode, they run
however often THEY decide too. Is there a separate
module or relay somewhere, or is it all controlled
at/in the actual wiper motor under the cowl? Is a w/w
motor the only way to remedy this? Its annoying and
not safe !!
2.) Does anyone know where I can find the 6 replacement
plastic buttons that hold down the cowl cover ? Do they
simply push in or do they twist in....mine have little torx-
bit type looking holes in the centers of them. Any help
would be appreciated here. Thanx man

Welcome to the forum.
The intermittent wipers are controlled via the CTM, central timer module. The low/high speed is part of the motor itself.
I think the buttons just snap in if I remember right.
