Default Another blower motor resistor thread.

Rather than resurrect an old thread, I'm starting this one fresh. This has been an ongoing issue on this truck.

I am on my second blower motor. (it's not 2 months old yet)

I am on my 5th BMR. Second since installing the new motor. (I replaced the motor, the plug, and the bmr a couple months back)

I am on my 3rd harness kit.

I am on my 3rd last nerve.

Why does this same terminal in the plug and resister keep melting like that and what can I do to correct it?
I have a new bmr but not a new plug. It's thanksgiving in canada today and nothing's open.

I read in another thread that a member by name of olsarge had soldered his wires directly to the bmr and did away with the plug, at least that's what it sounds like he did.

Did you ever find a solution? I too have replaced multiple motors, resistors and harnesses. Doing all at once lasts about 10 months.
