Default Hvac, power windows and wipers gone

I need some help.... i was installing my kenwood sound system in my 01 dakota slt... under the steering wheel is what looks to be a mess of non factory wires running through there... i thought nothing of it. Well when i returned the ground terminal back to the battery to check the that the sound system was hooked uo properly, there was a hot wire i was unaware of which had made connection with metal and sparks started to fly. I quickly moved to wire away... since this happened i have lost power to my wipers my windows and my hvac syatem. I tried a used ctm and that didnt work. I checked all fuses and they seem to be good... if anyone can help that would be great. Thanks all

Welcome to the forum.

The power windows and HVAC are not run via the CTM so that's likely not the problem.

When you say you checked "all fuses" did you check the ones in the power distribution module (PDC) under the hood? The power windows and wiper fuses that are in the junction block by the side of the door are fed through the ignition switch from the same fuse in the PDC, fuse #17 which is 50 amp.

As to the HVAC, does the blower run at any setting?

At the blower motor, disconnect the wire from the motor and check for 12 volts on the green wire with the key on.
