In the last couple of months my truck seems to be giving me multiple codes through the computer about misfiring crankshaft sensors pick up coil sensors just wondering if anybody else is having this issue and what may be causing it

You're looking at replacing the crankshaft position sensor and camshaft position sensor. You didn't specify your truck so just giving general info. Also these trucks are picky, especially the V6 about sensors, be sure to pick up oem sensors, regular parts store ones cause more headaches.

The truck is a 2001 Dodge Dakota quad cab 5.9 l the code is now telling me that the truck is misfiring on number 5 cylinder before I replace the crankshaft and pick up coil sensors it was telling me it was misfiring on number 8 and number 3 I'm just wondering if this is a common electrical issue with these trucks or if there's a broken wire maybe a ground problem I'm not exactly sure
