I have been doing more searching and there looks to be another harness connection for the radio , has anyone been that far in the dash to confirm it's location. It's just been to cold here and I have no shop/building to work in.

OK, so there is a connector, C246, I wasn't aware of somewhere under the dash.

Looks to be behind blower box or in that area. I'm at work now and will start digging into it next week when I get home.
Thanks for all the help guys and I will keep checking in if someone finds anything new.

No, shows to be on the driver side somewhere above the steering column. Kind of an odd spot.

It's a black connector, 16 pins. Near C200, the big white connector just by the brake pedal.

Thanks, that helps a lot. I'll dig into it when I get home next week, hopefully it will be warmer then.

Found the connection and it was together and tight. So I pulled the door apart and pulled out the speaker, unplugged it and used another speaker and there was the sound. I guess all 4 speakers went out together. I'll be ordering 4 replacements and go from there.
Again thanks for you time and help.

The truck is possessed , I put the radio and old speakers back in so the wife could use truck while I was at work and she tells me when I get home that the radio started playing. 😳 . Well I guess I'll spend the next , who knows, how many hours/days trying to find a lose connection that may never be found.
Any one. Know a good excorcest ! LOL

Man that sure sounds like a bad head unit almost. I'm not an exorcist, but I have the tools and knowledge to play a convincing one....
