Muffler change

Default Muffler change

So i got the clamps off the pipes and everything but how can i get the muffler off, it is a new muffler i just want to put a louder one in but i cant take it off because the clamps made indents, how could i get it off?

Hammer and chisel, or cut it off. Once the indentations are made, it won't come apart.

Yes, I agree. I found it a lot easier to sawsall the old stuff out and rebuild it yourself. I used a couple of thrush mufflers with some new adapters and pipe and the job was really easy. Don't try and make the old stuff work, you'll spend way too much time on it. my experience anyway.
