Default '02 3.9L -- didn't know I have an electric fan...how to get to work?

OK, got a new radiator and upper and lower hoses to replace my long-leaking (original?) radiator. ('02 3.9L 5spd manual, air) So I'm sizing up what to remove and in what order, when I notice an electric fan attached to the old radiator (?!). It's never run in the year+ I've had the truck. I'm guessing maybe it was attached to a junkyard radiator from a 4.7? Or possibly aftermarket? Didn't know it would fit with the stock fan, fan clutch...So since it fits, how can I make it functional? Has relays, fusibles for electric fan in the fuse block. If the 3.9 didn't come with this fan, how/where to install a temp sensor? Or should I just pull it out for better airflow?

Thanks in advance.

How do you know it doesn't work, if you didn't even know it was there? It might work. Run the truck till warm and turn on the AC.

The fan comes on at 210 degrees or with the AC.
