i'm trying to turn my dakota into a show truck, and ive already re-done the front light components (xenon fog lights, clear corners, and xenon headlights), and i want to redo the rear. if you know of a different type of light that looks good with a silver truck, let me know.

... oh yeah, but the only altezza lights I've ever seen on trucks look like junk - in my opinion. Plus they always seem to fog up and get condinsation inside... Personally I'd rather see stockers over Altezza's. What if you smoke the stockers??

Apparently there is some stuff called "NightShade" where you prep your lens and then paint until you get the desired effect you want ... should be about $15 for a can of spray

Smoke1 Smoke2 <-- pics of smoked lenses on mustangs (they're headlights, but you can get the general idea), also some guy talking about "how to smoke"

Also, I've head of people putting tint on their lens, which might be cool on our tail lights, and maybe easy to do being that their not all goofy shaped.

In either case buying an extra set of stocker tail lights and smoking them or tenting them would probably be alot cheaper than $200+ for altezzas. ... Hope that helps! [sm=icon_cheers.gif]

Cool. ... Well, whatever you decide to do, post up some picks, I'd like to see 'em .... especially if you smoke 'em up. I have a 'Driftwood' color Dakota, & I think they might looks pretty sweet

Good Luck [sm=icon_cheers.gif]
