Default Crank no start- sometimes.

I have a 1997 Dakota, with the V8 magnum engine. When im parked for shorter periods of time it cranks but wont start. If i leave it it will start fine but but if its short it wont start. One thing that seems to help is parking on a hill nose down. Some friends suggested fuel pump but i can hear it going even when it wont start. Ive also tried new relays and have yet to get a good test on spark when its not starting. This is very hard to diagnose as it starts fine most times.

Need to find out what's missing. Next time it won't start, check for spark, see what happens.

Does it cut out while running at all? Vapor lock is a thing (albeit rare on EFI), and a hot coil is more prone to failure.
