What is the dif between a reg dodge????????? Whay dose the SXT mean

 

SXT means they put some different wheels on it, put a little different sound system in, and slapped an SXT-badge on the outside .... I think that's it ... But, I might be wrong on the wheels and sound system part though [sm=confused06.gif]!?! Hope that helps [sm=icon_cheers.gif]

 

SXT is just a trim level, just like SLT or R/T. SXT's were usually Dodge's "value" package I guess would be the best way to describe it.

 

I had an 04 sxt and it was pretty nice for the money. I paid 12,000 for it new. The main thing about it is the exterior comes with nice wheels and fender flares and inside it has bucket seats and a cd player that's about it but it was a pretty good deal. It also seemed to have the same ride height as the 4x4s.

 

Did it come with a tow package?

 

Yes, mine has it.

 

This is the version that I have.
The SXT base has exterior elements like graphite bumpers, grille, fascia and fender flares, plus sporty 16-inch aluminum wheels. Inside, standard gear includes bucket seats, air conditioning, an automatic transmission and CD player, no power windows, power locks
I did paint the bumpers since I was hit in the front
For the price it’s perfect if you don’t care about having power windows and crap like that. I picked not to have it it's just something else not to work rite

 

The SXT trim level does not come factory with the tow package ( just so that no gets confused from previous posts) but for around 200 bucks you can get a tow package installed or do it your self what ever floats your boat.

 

Ah yes, good save. I meant that you could get an SXT with the tow package, but yes it was an option.
