New to me 2001 dakota sport 4.7 2 door club cab. Confirm my diagnosis. Hard start cycle the key a couple times starts right up. Got a fuel pressure gauge. Key on less than 10lbs. 2nd cycle goes to 10. 3rd cycle with the key 20lbs. 4th and its up over 40. Engine running 48lbs. Fuel pump correct? These things have the regulator part of the pump correct? Bleed down of pressure is aprox 1min to get to 10 then another 5 to 0. What pump is best to get.I only want to do this job once.

 

Delphi or Denso pumps only please, stay FAR away from airtek, unless you like changing them......
