Hello, Just bought my first ever truck! Have wanted one for years. It needs help though. lol i got it for $400.00! It has a broken cv axle, and busted hub bearing ( wheel is tilting outward currently!) other than that and a lot of body rust its in pretty good shape for being 21 years old. 182000 miles runs strong If anyone has any tips or suggestions please reply thank you.

Relatively easy to replace with pretty much hand tools. I would be tempted to do both sides though...... If one side is toast, the other side can't be too far behind.

Yeah thats what i thought too. just trying to get it on the road first. we need a second vehicle so my wife can get a job! cant afford to do both sides right now. I've ordered the axle, hub/bearing assembly, upper and lower control arms. Any idea where i can find a list of torque specs on here or another site for free?

Careful with that rust! It creeps across the truck faster than you'd think if it isn't taken care of. I made the mistake of ignoring it on my last Dakota haha. Had 3 of the fender flares fall off while I was driving down the road.
