Default 2008 cams in 2001 4.7 heads

I have a 2001 Dakota with the 4.7.

I just picked up a used 4.7 out of a 2008 Ram that has a spun bearing. I'm planning to adapt the 08 intake manifold to my 01 and was thinking of grabbing the cams while I'm at it. I've been trying to do some research about the 08 cam in the earlier heads and everyone says to go with stronger springs than the stock springs in my 01. Can I just pull the springs with the cams in the 08 and swap them into my 01? Or am I going to need to buy aftermarket springs for the 2000-2004 heads? I am finding different part numbers for the 00-04 and 05-07 and another for the 08+. I'm hoping this is just because the cams need different springs. Can anyone confirm or clarify?

Anyone know if the 08 springs will drop into my 01 heads?
