Default Dakota Idling Problem

04 Dodge Dakota Quad-Cab 4.7L 150K. Problem - eng runs rough. Can drive it for about 30 min before problems start. Stopped at tfc light, AC running, idle becomes rough. Turn off AC, nurse the gas pedal sometimes it smooths out. If trans is put in park or neutral & increase the engine's rpm (before problems start) it sometimes runs fine. At first it was only when idling, but now when driving 30 min + the engine starts running rough at normal speed. Shut the engine off & start it again runs fine until the next tfc light or until I slow down then the problem starts again. Engine cools down it is ok until ran for over 30 minutes or so. Only be a problem if 90 degrees or warmer outside. No check engine light, no computer codes are registered. Operating temp normal. New fuel pump 3 yrs ago. When starting the engine (cold) I turn the key 1 click & wait about 3 sec before starting the engine. Seems like if I don't do this the engine turns overs quite a bit longer before it starts.

Not sure - local shop installed it, not a Dodge dealer.

Disconnect the front O2 sensor(s), see if the problem goes away. (that WILL set a code or three.)
