Default OD keeps shutting off

So I rebuilt my tranny in my "01 dakota and had tranny shop rebuild the OD and reinstall it to the tranny. My shift and slip problems are gone but now the OD keeps shutting off. Have already followed the check valve elimination video as it was overheating and shutting off the OD back in March,so I know that"s not it. No tranny lights coming on in the instrument panel. Any thoughts?

Get a scanner that will read trans temp, and see what temp is when the problem occurs. (the PCM will disable Overdrive before it turns on the trans temp light......)

Check connections at the trans (8 pin connector), and also at the PCM. (pcm connectors like to corrode, and give intermittent contact.)

See if there are any pending codes.......

Moving this to second gen Dakota section.
