Default Throwout bearing and clutch replacement

I have a 2002 dakota sport 4wd 3.9L that I need to replace the clutch and throwout bearing in. Is it possible to seperate the transmission and engine without pulling either all the way out to access the throwout bearing?

Drop the trans completely out. It's easier than trying to manufacture a way of swapping those parts without having to do it that way.......
