I have a 1998 dakota club cab and when I put it in 4x4 there is no light that comes on.
I have looked in the dash and the light is good.
I heard that there is vac. lines that go to the axles with some wires. but there is only 1 vac line and no wires.
Also my high beam indicator light is not working, same thing looked at the light and it is good.
any clue?

 

Had the same issue with my 97. Dealer had to replace the relay behind the dash. I did not attempt to try and do this myself, so I can offer no tech advise. Sorry.
