Default p0132

Hello, I have a 2001 Dakota 4.7 Cali emissions(2 cats-4 02 sensors). Changed both cats and all 02's, TPS, Map, and IAC and I am getting a rpm surge while driving 35-40 mph up 500rpm then down 1000 then back up. Every once and a while at a stop or slow down truck will die but start back up. Also at times its seems that there is no response from the throttle, like a dead spot until you punch it to the floor. I also must mention it seems all this started when the left side speakers cut out, which come and go. Am I looking for a loose or bad ground?

Code is for bank one O2 sensor. (pre-cat.) Voltage high. It's likely shorted to the heater circuit. Would that cause your issues? Maybe...... replace the sensor, see what happens.

@HeyYou, Thanks for the quick reply, as I said all the sensors are new(Denso) along with the cats. Stalling when coming to a stop or a slow down has stopped but the rpm surge is still there mostly around 1500-1700 rpm but its not constant. I can drive around for awhile and its seems fine then out of the blue it will surge. Is it possible there could be a problem with the shift solenoid? I'm not pulling any codes at all at the moment. Beginning to think the only solution will be a gallon of gas and a match!

Would be interesting to data log some, and see if the surge coincides with the sensor freaking out..... I doubt you got a second sensor with the same problem..... (though, it IS possible.....) time to check the wiring for the sensor.

Hmm..Denso....JTEC is programmed for NGK...so Denso may or may not be out of range. (Same applies with Bosch)....

Got the wiring diagrams last night, so it looks like I'll be wire tracing today. Keep you posted, again thanks for the help.
