Exclamation Body Lifts / For better or worse?

I've looked everywhere and cannot seem to find the answer I'm looking for so here it comes I situation is I need to get rid of my leveling kit because I cannot get my truck aligned. I have a 2003 Dakota quad cab 4 by 4. Therefore I need to get what I think is a body kit and let the pressure off of my torsion keys so I can get it aligned. No my question is there a body kit that is less than 3 in for less than 300 box anywhere.?? I've looked high and low with no luck. Please help my new tires are wearing out prematurely and I need it fixed fast. Any specific details about a body lift used trucks that I might want to know would be beneficial and appreciate it thank you

How much lift have you cranked into the keys? They should align up to about +1.5 without too much issue.

Body lifts aren't great, but can be a decent band-aid. Not sure any are made anymore for our trucks though.

I have my torsion keys cranked, up and the alignment shop had no problem aligning it. The only body lift I am aware of is the 3" PA body lift.

They are cranked 2.5 inches or so. From what i understand that when cranked the indexed torsion keys at put the lower control arm at such angles throwing the camber way off sticking the top of tire out wearing the outside of the tire fast. Beyond that I just dont see any other option than a body lift or a 1000 dollar suspension lift to clear my 33 inch tires and get them to wear evenly and not rub. What i had in mind was to spred out the lift between the the keys and the body lift rather then going extreme one method vs the other

This is what the shop gave me for current measurements

damn, you're only off by half a degree? I wouldn't worry that too much.

I'd be making them fix that toe though. Like holy hell.

well they told me it couldn't be aligned because i needed to keep the ride height so they couldnt touch the keys . I had a feeling it wasn't going to be alienable with keys cranked so for 20 bucks they check it rather then 80 to try and align it. Beyond the camber. I can adjust the toe at home good enough but the caster is what im concerned about i have not the slighted about adjusting that or what kind of wear that incorporates. I might just take the blocks out in ther rear and take the tension off of these keys and go with the body. Cuz it rides like the wagon with wooden wheels on Oregon Trail probably did.

You need to go to a different alignment shop, my keys are cranked up to where they are almost touching the bump stops and they had no problem aligning it.

Don't worry about caster so much, it doesn't wear tires. Toe and Camber do, and 1/2 degree of camber isn't really worth worrying about. As you said, you can easily do toe at home.

Ok, the thing is I just got new tires a 1000 miles ago along with parts including: inner/outer tie rods, upper ball joints and longer shocks at the same time. I did the best i could with the toe eyeballing it and with those specs on the sheet i managed to noticeably feel the "cupping" on the outside of the front right tire already. Also very mildly on the left front tire. Which concerns me that their high tech alignment machine is either out of wack or the mechanics are.....well dont know how to use the equipment properly.
