2 drivability issues, possibly related?
1st: occasional pop and sputter, usually on acceleration
2nd: occasionally sputters and stalls on braking, usually coming to a stop. Has now progressed to the point that it won't go much of anywhere. Crank for a while before it will start, then runs fine in particular or neutral, won't go 20 feet once it's in gear.
Daily driver, this problem started about a month ago.

Plugs, wires, fuel filter, fuel pump, vacuum leak, etc. Had it scanned for codes?

Typically, plugs, wires, fuel filter, would all be relatively constant, where this has been intermittent. Before yesterday, I might drive to and from work (13 miles each way) without a problem. Fuel pump might be sporadic, really don't wanna drop tank without knowing that's the problem. Hoping to get codes scanned tomorrow.
