if you ask me just get yourself a 1 Footer glass pack and do a Y pipe with them coming straight out the back i've got a 98 with a 5.2 and it sounds good with that but the only thing is it doesnt rumble really deep but if you put some big tips on it it makes it sound WAYYYYYY better and it gives you the low rumble and when u stomp down on it she'll get loud *believe me i know and so does the cop that pulled me over the other night lol* and when u let off of it it has that snap but thats just my oppinion for ya i like it and theres another truck just like mine that has true dual exhaust but thats illegal because it requires removal of the catalatic converter but it doesnt sound any different at all so i'd just go with the Y

 

In my opinion the only dual system is a true dual system, otherwise you might as well go 3 inch cat back system with high flow cat which will sound as good as the muffler you buy and increase power as well. I have true duals on my QC 4.7 which exit out both sides in stock position. sound is everything.
