Turbonator question

Default Turbonator question

Has anyone tried one of those 'Turbonator' things that cyclone your intake air ( for $70 bucks)?????
Seems like a scam to me.

well Muy_Pyro, the TB spacers aren't all bad, they do lower the torque and hp curves to useable ranges, especially good if you have a free flowing exhaust. Mostly because the exhaust tends to give better torque and hp numbers at higher rpm's. the tb spacer i have is the best 6 pack of MGD i ever spent (my friend had a small cnc machine, and alunimum scrap).

A friend of mine purchased one and learned the hard way that it is a scam. All it does is block your air intakes path. They don't even give you what they advertise. If you want to make a slight improvement in acceleration and fuel economy, take that $70 and spend it on a K&N air filter, then spend whatever is left on your girlfriend and you'll end the year on a good note.
