Default Water pump Coolant leak question.

Is it possible for a bearing seal to go bad on the water pump and there be no noise and no leaking from the weep hole?
Ive been trying to track down a slow coolant leak that is being flung by the serpentine belt.
Have replaced the radiator, upper and lower hoses, thermostat seal and housing.
lately have noticed that the water pump pulley is wet on the backside only seeping out onto the belt, however the weep hole is dry.
I've checked the coolant every day since completing the hose exchange and the coolant lever has not noticeably go down although i suspect if i waited a couple of weeks to check it i would notice something.
The leak appears to happen under acceleration when engine is just starting to warm up just before the thermostat opens, after that happens the leak apparently stops
What do you think?

Check where the heater tube goes into the pump housing. That O-ring is known to fail and squirt water out.

Thanks for the reply and help. I was hoping that would be the case, Sadly however turns out his particular pump does not have the heater line inlet.
Today i took some time and got under the truck and wedged myself up into the engine bay to get a good close look at things. And sure enough it is the pulley/impeller shaft seal that is leaking. Makes me wonder why the weep hole didnt function as designed. I suspect given how badly swollen the radiator was when i bought it, i suspect the previous owner may have filled the system with something like Barsleak, which possibly could of clogged up the weep hole.
Anyway, thanks for the suggestion.
Now to purchase a pump.

You've already confirmed it, but I explained how to check for worn bearings in the linked thread. It also has a link to the GMB water pump that I got off Amazon. You should update your signature with your truck info.

My truck is doing the exact same thing. I was lucky enough to see steam behind the pulley though during one of the inspections. Sure is odd.
thankfully the pumps are only $47 from O'Reilleys and easy to replace. Good luck!

Spent the last 3 days researching water pumps and even though it's a relatively easy repair, i decided to take the plunge and buy an OEM pump.

I hope i can get 4 years out of it.
