I have a 99 Dakota 2wd 3.9 with the 42re, im looking to swap a 5.2 in, apart from the motor and wiring and computers what else would be needed? Would my transmission work and if so are the bell housings difrent ect, along with any advice thanks in advance

 

Should be pretty straight forward, the 3.9 is the same bore and stroke as the 5.2, only difference the 5.2 has two more cylinders that's it.
