So I'm just wondering how hard is the 3.9 to rebuild? I have a 3.9 in a 95, starting to have some problems and I don't want to part with truck, maybe swap engines but for now, how hard it is rebuilding?

It's an exercise. LOTS of finicky details to worry about. Also, it may be less expensive to just get someones long block, already rebuilt. Then it's just a straight swap.

biggest issue is the the rod bearings. N-bearings might be JUST narrow enough for a V6, I'm not sure. The mains should be standard 318.
