The transmission dip stick is in the back of the engine bay on the passanger side of the truck, very close the the firewall. Make sure the trans is warmed up first. A quick trip around the block is all you should need. With the engine running and the transmission in Neutral (don't try this on a hill, or at least block the wheels) pull out the dipstick and clean it off, then re-insert pull back out and check the level. On the dipstick it will tell you witch one of the many Chrysler transmissions fluids types to use in your transmission. Try to use only Chrysler transmission fluid because there is a difference and the Chrysler fluid works best in your Chrysler transmission. Remember always check the transmission fluid level after the transmission is warmed up, engine running, and the transmission in NEUTRAL.
