Dakota rt sport ecm went out. I got one off ebay and put it in and truck will run 2 seconds and die. Had someone come to program it and they said that the ecm is programed for a skim witch my truck does not have. Is there any way to reprogram this ecm not to look for the skim.

 

SKIM can only be removed with a DRB3 tool. Even then, I am not 100% sure how, but I know it's an option in there somewhere.
