20inch wheels I got in April go on the challenger tomorrow and while at the tire shop ordering the challenger tires today I pulled the trigger on 9x20 XD 839 wheels for the 04 Dakota SLT; now my problem, I am plus sizing the tires from the stock 265/70x16 and none of the online configuration tools will go over a 275 or 285. I have a few weeks before I get the Dakota tires so I am looking for the best all terrain option to get a wider and taller tire on the Dakota, nothing ridiculous, just enough to give it a better off road look. Any recommendations?
Your current tires are 30.5 diameter, and 10.4 inches wide. On 20" wheels, 265/50R20 would be almost exactly the same diameter/width. (hair bit smaller, in both dimensions.) Check out the converter here, and click on the 'tire plus sizing' to give you a range of options.
