Default Ac issue

Ok so my AC went out. The pulley bearing went out so I replaced the compressor but somehow I am also not getting power to the hot wire on the compressor. All my fuses are good and my relay is good. . Could it be the control mod?

Is the system full charged? I seem to remember something about the compressor not running if the pressure was too low.

BTW, when the bearing went on mine, I was able to replace just the clutch assembly without disconnecting the lines. There are YouTube vids showing how to do it.

Yes it is fully charged. I couldn't find any locals stores with just the bearing or clutch assembly.

I also did pull a vacuum. I did not add oil. It said it came with like 3 ounces in it. Wasn't sure if it needed more

I got mine from the junkyard. Found one on a newish compressor with a smooth bearing.

The bearing and clutch assembly can be found online around $50 to $70 but you can get the wrong size. Three Oz. should be OK a little over the needed amount. Try and swap the relay the fuse should be in with the relays. How did you get the r134 in if it wont kick in it may be over filled?

Also did you replace the Orifice Tube or drier?

I swapped the relays and fuses. The thing is it wasn't getting fire before I swapped the compressor. I don't know but It took it. I did run a hot wire to the battery to see if it would kick on like that and it did.
