I have a 2001 dodge Dakota slt I am looking for the license plate lights that are in the step bumper. Dodge says they have the cap but not the light socket with hook up wiring. Does any body know where I can get the socket with the two wires or what can I switch the lights over to that will fit. Thank you in advance

Or could easily get a light from a junkyard. Should be same as a durango, I think. Either way the step was the most comon config, only the R/T's had a non-step bumper IIRC

 

Talked to them youcan get the light sockets if you buy the entire wiring harness at only $250. they are an interglacial part of the whole harness but you can buy the chrome cap. The wrecking yard looks like a fine place to look. Thanks ILL let you guys know.

 

Dorman 85814. You can get them on eBay, Amazon or the local auto parts store. They're for GMs and Fords. It's a 4 tab insert and twist and takes the same bulb.
