i was checking the vacuum servos on my heat/ac box and when i removed the passenger side kick panel a black box with several wires attached fell out...does anyone know what it is.....i should have taken a pic lol
Yes you should have taken a pic. It Could. Be. Anything. You have the truck with you. Any markings on the box? Have you traced the wires to see where they go? Disconnect it and see what happens?
The CTM is the center timer module. It's what Chrysler calls their body control module. It's responsible for things like your alarm, key fobs, light controls, door locks, etc. I think they started using them on 99 or 00+. My 98, everything is controlled via the PCM.
Ah, yes. The early years had them up next to the glovebox. When the infinity audio was introduced, the CTM moved to driver side and the amplifier took it's spot.
