Default 2001 Dodge Dakota 4.7 misfiring

So for the last few weeks, I keep getting a P0302 cylinder 2 misfire and the truck runs pretty rough. I started simple and ran some injector cleaner. Since then I have replaced spark plugs, and fuel injector. Coils are fairly new maybe a year old. Wiring seems alright.

Today I'm gonna check compression and use a head gasket test kit. I dont think it's a head gasket but I'm gonna rule it out. I'm suspecting an intake gasket. If it was the fuel pump, wouldn't it misfire on different cylinders? Anyone else have a similar issue and a good remedy? Thanks in advance

Have you ever overheated the engine?

If so, it's somewhat common for #2 to drop a valve seat. Check the compression.

It's unlikely the fuel pump as it should occur on different cylinders. Easy to check though. It should be about 49 psi.
