Both Valvoline and Pennzoil have synchromesh manual transmission fluid, but which one should I choose?

Is that what your transmission wants? I think the name on bottle, and perhaps, the price... are the only differences.

The genuine Mopar stuff is $20+ and both of the others are designed for GM and Mopar specifications at half the cost.

either Valvoline OR Pennzoil. which ever one you can get, get the GL4 NOT GL5. (syncromesh is GL4.. GL5 isn't good for the brass in the synchros.

I THINK if I remember right OEM MOPAR stuff was rebottled Pennzoil. (so they could charge more)
