Most of your gauges are driven directly from their various sensors, so, I would indeed take a long hard look at the ignition switch.

grrr. starts every time this morning. if i take it anywhere i worry i may not make it back. i need to get to pharmacy.

what can be so intermittent? fuel pump yes, seen it before even IAC, but ignition switch? is there a way to test this theory?

anyone with access to alldata willing to get a wiring dia for the switch and the ignition system of the computer for testing. mainly pin numbers, if you don't mind.
