Many of you have a problem with a stalling Dakota with a 3. 9 liter engine. I found that if I did a hard restart on my engine and computer, for me that corrected the problem. With the engine off, disconnect the negative post on the battery.
Then hold the key to the start position on the ignition for 30 seconds. Turn the TV off. Reconnect the negative post on the battery. Start the engine, and then shut it off. If you're lucky like I was, that will correct your stalling problem.
