Default RE42 and the Car are not driving

Hello Dakota friends,

I could not resist getting a Dakota V6 2 WD Automatic.

Unfortunately, a mistake has taken root in the vehicle. The Dakota got from the previous owner a new / reconditioned part motor. This engine runs, however, this transmission drives clean only in the cold state and when hot, it chokes the engine. We have now removed the gearbox and the gear manufacturer has nothing at all found nothing that nothing is broken there. So the gear reinstalled and lo and behold the fault is still there. Of course we have already exchanged the sensors, but everything has remained the same.

Of course I'm looking for help to get my RE42 running again.

VIN: 1B7GL23X4VS120292

So the engine gets shuts off when it is hot? How do you know it is transmission issue and not engine issue?

Or does engine stay running but truck does not move once transmission is hot?

Was the torque converter replaced or re-used?

Does the rear end have oil in it? Universal joints good? If either of those are binding when hot, the truck will act like the brakes are on.
