While coming out of a store the other day I mashed on the gas and the thing just died on me. It took a few seconds to get it started back up. I'm running a 5.2L with 153,000 miles on it. Keep in mind I don't know squat about cars and would like to know what could have caused this. This would be the first time it has happened. Could it have been that I didn't wait for it to warm up? Thanks for your time, guys!

 

Question, did it throw any lights? there's no warning light for fuel problems so it could be fuel pump and if that's the case you're running on borrowed time. next time it does it it won't start again.

 

The Check Guages light came on a couple of days before that but it did not stay on. I'll have it checked out. Thanks!

 

When was the last time you did a normal tune up? Filters, plugs, wires, cap n rotor...
