Default Need help

Im not sure if this has already been asked so im just gonna give yall the whole spill and maybe someone can help! I have a 1998 dodge dakota v6 magnum 4x2 5 speed... my parents bought the truck new in december of 97... i bought an ouput shaft seal for a nv3500 and it didnt fit so i returned it and got the seal for the ax15... trans still leaked... found out i need to change the output shaft bushing or rear housing bushing whatever you want to call it... i ordered one for an ax15... go to put it in and its too small... need help please anyone haha

Go here, and pull a build sheet for your truck, it will tell you what trans *should* be in it. I think the bushing is pressed in as well...... so, keep that in mind.

The 3.9 Dakotas had the AX15 up until sometime around 99-00 when they switched to the NV3500.

Yeah i just found out there are two sizes for the tail housing and the one i need i cant find anywhere! Its a 1.725 inch OD bushing if anyone knows where to get one
