Head Removal on a 2004 Dakota with a 3.7
Good evening and thank you for any advice you all may have on this subject.
I am removing the drivers side head to machine the head and replace the blown head gasket.
My question: Is it necessary to remove the rocker arms before removing the head?
The manual seems to say to remove the rocker arms however I don't see what it would be necessary. My machine shop IS going to R and R everything in and on the heads prior to the machine work.
