I am trying to figure out which radiator I need for my 99 5.2l dakota. The one with the auxiliary tran oil cooler or without. Is there an easy way to tell.

 

you dont need to. you can just swap out the radiator and keep the stock trans cooler. That what I did.

 

If the op doesn't have the aux cooler at present and it was mine I would definitely be buying the one with the aux cooler. No 2 ways about it. I did exactly that on my 99 this past summer after a deer took out my original radiator. Fit right in.
