It certainly isnt black. Perhaps its condensation? It is like a smoke that really hangs in the air. So as the truck runs, the entire yard fills with smoke and I was afraid someone would think that something is on fire. I will get the kit and test the coolant. Thank you for all your help.

If you can, pull a sample from the gas tank, put it in a glass jar, and let it sit for an hour. See if any water separates out of it.

Check the oil as well to see if coolant is leaking into the system. Under the oil cap if you see a brown foam then coolant is getting into the oil. Also, the 5.2 intake manifold has a steel plant connected to the aluminum body which causes the gasket to wear prematurely and oil (and if leaking coolant that too) would then get into the pistons. Not too difficult to pull the intake manifold, just a few bolts.

Intake plenum can be ruled out here. It's either condensation in the tank or coolant. 5.2 dont pop HG like 4.7 does.

"Not losing coolant" is subjective. Really need an exhaust gas tester to know for sure. Could be coolant getting in the chambers on the intake stroke and combustion pressure creating air bubbles on the power stroke.

Try dumping a bottle of water remover in the gas tank. The STP stuff in the yellow bottle works pretty good or the Iso Heet, red bottle. If/when you rent the block tester, make sure you drain out some of the coolant from the radiator, so it doesn't get sucked up into the tube and result in a false positive.

Excellent practical advice. I made sure the radiator was full, ran the truck for a while at night, checked this morning and coolant is lower. Oil check looks good. Will wait for a little warmer weather before working on it. Thank you! Everyone here has been very helpful!
