How does the PCM send a kill signal? It must not go through the ASD relay because that stays entergized.

Maybe the fuel pump relay?
The ASD is staying active?

The ASD supplies power to the fuel pump relay, the ignition coil, and the fuel injectors.

Yes the ASD is staying energized/active.
Some more information. Truck runs approx 2 seconds unless I on/off the key 4/5 times to prime the fuel.
Im thinking the injectors are loosing power or fuel is being restricted.
I used a toothpick and forced the fuel relay to stay On and same results.

Retested TPS and MAP. Both tested ok.

I'm going to swap the PCM to see if it is a security issue.

if holding the fuel pump primed keeps it running, go back to the rail pressure gauge and monitor it. if it drops below 42psi then the pump is on it's way out

Update: I've tried two PCM's an problem continues. I back probed an injector and it looks like the injector pulse stops and the engine dies. It starts every time and consistently at 2-3 seconds it dies.
ASD stays energized until engine stops then it kicks off. Which is what I believe it's supposed to do.

Question is what is causing the injector pulse to stop?

97s, at least mine, doesn't have a security system.
The place I'm getting the PCM say they perform a "security reset" on all PCMs. I've heard you can't remove the security flag once it's been flipped on.
My question is would a reset enable security on a non security PCM? If so that would explain why both had the sane issue?
