Sudden acceleration?
I have a 1998 Dakota 3.9 2wd automatic. From time to time with no warning, the engine will experience wide-open throttle. I can put the transmission in park and shut off the engine with the ignition or just quickly shut the engine down from the ignition. After shutting the engine down and restarting everything is fine? Also, the engine will shut down intermittently with no warning, and sometimes it will restart and other times it must set for awhile. I can hear the fuel pump whine. No code will set and no indication, no hesitation, no misfire. This thing is possessed and has a poltergeist in it.. Someone, please help.. !!!! I'm in a bad horror movie chased by a masked man with a chain saw...!!!!
