Default Power mirror inverted

Has anyone dealt with this problem before? Happens on both mirrors, if I press left, the head turns right. If I press right it goes left.

Had any work done on the truck? Sounds like they got the connector on the switch backwards.

No this has been happening since I bought the truck. I thought it may have been the switch since there is a cheap Chinese switch in it currently. Swapped switches for an OE unit and still same issue. Harness looks unmolested.

Is the connector keyed?? Will it go on more than one way?

connector only has 3 wires. Common, vertical, horizontal. Find it hard to believe its flipped.
