Default Starting problem 2003

Hi all im having aStarting problem on my 2003
3.9l quad cab SXT .when i turn keys starter doesn't make any sound or crank over.
battery was ok ( replaces it anyway today)little low but passed load test .heater fan, lights, radio, all work . Starter was replaced 2 years ago.
im wondering if it has any kind of low oil computer shut down .after changing battery it still didnt start.
i check my dip stick and oil level was half way into the add area .i added about 1/2 quart and tried again it started right up no problems .
could this be it or is there something else to look at

Check your battery terminals, cables, leads and grounds. Check for corrosion creeping up into the insulation, clean them and apply dielectric grease. You may also have a starter problem but check the simple stuff first.

Adding oil was just a coincidence. PCM doesn't care about oil level, or pressure, when deciding to run the starter or not. More likely, you have a flaky relay. Swap the starter relay with the fan relay. See what happens.
