i need access to the inner roof panel to remove an orange service vehicle beacon and weld up the holes...

how do i remove the headliner without breaking it or causing the material to fall off? its in very good condition right now and id hate to wreck a good thing. i cant find any directions in either Chiltons or the other manual..

This is a quad cab, but it should be quite similar.

You might find some plugs to fill the holes. Unless you're restoring it, then weld them closed before you paint it. I bought an old Crown Vic police car once and plugged most of the holes but I put a CB antenna on the trunk lid. Nobody ever tail gated or cut me off in traffic after that. It's a mystery.

A friend bought a retired California Highway Patrol Mustang LX once, he always had plenty of room. Even after he painted it... I'm sure it must have been the hubcaps
