97 Dodge Dakota Electrical issues
So I am trying to get this machine back to road worthy as I am needing it to haul building materials for my house.
Yesterday 2/23/2021 I started working on it replaced the powersteering pump and replaced the battery as it has been sitting in the back yard for probably 3 years with very little attention given to it everything was went well fired up perfectly but had an idle issue not sure what it was but it went away with a little pedal action.
Where it had been sitting with the windows rolled up there was alot of water in the cab I presume that was caused from condensation build up so after I was happy with the truck idling on its own I shut it off and rolled the window's down to air itnout and let most of the water dry up, this was a not a good idea for at the end of the day just before it started getting dark I went out to roll the window's up, that when I discovered a new issue the window's was not working.
so I went to bed got up today thinking they might magically work again you know like the idle issue lol, wrong no such luck.
I have checked the breaker with an ohms meter appeared to be good but I went ahead and bought a new one from auto parts store, still no window action so off came the door panel and back to using the multi meter as far as I can tell everything ohmed out correctly switch module and wiring for the drivers side door, I am still scratching my head as to what is wrong with them but while I had the door panel off I used a set of jumper cable and some scrap wire I had laying around to straight wire the window motor, 1 to check if motor was bad and 2 to get the window closed well the motor is good. I have also noticed my ABS light is staying on as well as the brake warning light.
I am assuming that the ground maybe at fault here but other thing in the same fuse box are working fine likendoor locks and mirror adjuster. Any suggestions?

Not the same issues exactly because I don’t have electric windows in my 97 but my brake light and abs light have been stuck on for almost 2 months now and my check engine light randomly throws codes relating to wiring issues but once cleared to validate them when the codes are pulled after a different code comes up and this alternates repeatedly. This beyond the other thousand issues I’ve had with mine since I bought it 3 years ago has me ready to drive it off a cliff..
