Hello, I have a 01 dodge Dakota with a 360, not sure about what kind of transmission it is. It was going down the road and went out with no signs of slipping or anything. It does not have any codes either. I dropped the pan and there was no shavings or peices of anything in more did it smell burnt. Any ideas on what it could be?

 

Probably just an electronics problem. Replace the governor pressure sensor, and solenoid, fill it back up with fluid, and see how it goes.
